Description
Schrammsteine in Saxon Switzerland (on the border of Germany and Czech republic), from photographic workshop led by Michal Balada
I have been saving this picture as my last submission from that trip, because I like it most... I know there are several very similar pictures, since it's a favourite spot for photographers, but this one is mine I especially like the sunrays falling into the valley, and the line of the clouds mirroring the rock formation (it was like that just for a few seconds, they were moving pretty fast in the wind).
Shot with 2 exposures for the sky and the foreground.
The title comes from Michal's (the leader of the workshop) expression about some sunsets that look so unbelievably colorful that you almost have to desaturate the colors to make it look more real This one looked even more colorful in reality than it is in the photo, the camera wasn't able to capture all the subtle differences in the colors, especially the reddish hue of the horizon.
