He Calls...I awaken on the beach.
Luna still sings to me.
I feel broken.
Her light lifts me up.
Onto my feet.
My limbs dance independent of each other.
I fall to my face again.
You lack unity, child.
Embrace me, become one with the shadow.
Collapsing into the sand,
The water begins to wash over me.
I have never felt so helpless.
5 voices speak to me as one.
Anarchy within the soul,
Causes disunity of the mind.
You are nothing without us.
We are you.
I.
Am.
You.
The body convulses and screams.
My shadow is calling again.
And I am helpless.
PlumMy breasts - juicy plums.
Sink your teeth in them and drink.
Soon their taste will fade.
Patience
Migrant birds depart
before frosts stiffen their wings.
She will be waiting.
Starseed CommunionThere is an urgency
To share this
Ecstatic energy.
The sense of you
Willingly offering your hands
As though you know
Without understanding.
Blissful.

I'm lifted from my skin,
Finding you with closed eyes.
Flesh wounds tighten within,
Ivory tainted,
Bend and breathe.
All pain taken
In spiritual unity.
Shapeless expressions form
In silence.

Your wings
Have a colour purer than mine,
The softness unspeakable.
Shivers
Joined with you
As though we have touched.

Wise, white phantom
Justified hunter
Gentle, majestic,
The creature of my soul.
We listen, longing to know
The significance,
As we awaken together.
Damp.If you were the weather defining my days
   you would be rain.

Not because you're cold
       but because you are my favorite.

I would set out bowls and cups,
                          mouths and hands
              just to catch you
                      and hold you for a little while
                     because my palms are too small to hold sunshine.

But even wet fingerprints know
      they cannot stay that way
               forever

So I'd rock you, ever so gently
     until you fell asleep in evaporation
              tucked snugly and lovingly
                                       next to my tears.
IF TEARS WERE WISHES...I cried a million tears and more
a constellation to fit into Eternity's store,
and if each tear were a scarlet love-knot
in the cord that ties my heart to yours caught,
without rest I will follow this otherworldly lane
of tears and knots leading me back to you again.

If tears could build a bridge from here to there
and memories were stairs I could ascend with care,
then from Earth to Heaven would not seem very far
to go to bring you back again, my kindred heart,
and if tears were wishes shining like a star above
then I would wish you here with me, my kinsmet love.

Ghost WritingThe words grew hollow
Meaningless somehow- thinner.
I forgot why I loved
The dusted air of summer.
I forgot why I took
My pen to paper.
I forgot why I chose,
A book of vapour or a written rose.
As all the petals of
Prose fell away.
At the end of the day
I was left with letters.
ParamnesiaI've tasted the richness and emptiness
Of forever,
Hacked my way through abstract forests,
Somehow it all made sense.

A scene gets deleted,
I'm looking out and watching myself
Walk backwards like a Hollywood ghoul:
I hear you say,
"Only hummingbirds can fly that way".

You are binding stars to everything,
You tell me it is sunlight catching on dust
Particles.

My self-taught body can utilise these fictions:
Irrational numbers which bend in arm-crooks,
Closing eye beams, who shrivel fjords
And shutter planets;

A wicked, living dissolution (without a will,
Without successors)
Defeats the twin which light has dreamed . . .  
PureAll saints pose as Lucifer,
grayer than pure,
to read the tea leaves
and the angel words;
they fly through dreams,
they slip through
edgy judgments,
to sing permitted songs,
to find objections
ruled by grace.

The saints, they live
as Lucifer,
truer than pure,
they dream to fly,
to slip through
stony logic;
they slip through
dreams and logic,
the threat of falling
ever on their minds.

I added a haiku to the picture. I hope it's a haiku, at least: I've never written one before :) Recently I learned that haiku+picture=haiga, so it's a haiga, I guess...
(But now I really have no idea what dA cathegory fits for it: I made the "boat", took the photo, wrote the poem, and put it all together. There should be a "mixed everything" cathegory... Any ideas? :))

Yeah, I would keep submitting such deviations to poetry, because honestly it will stand out and get more notice there.
...I would suggest the sub-categories of "miscellaneous" that most photo categories have... BUT based on my own experience with submitting as such your works would get overlooked. Hope this helps.
