Sometime I'm the one that suggests it to get a DD also.:eyes:

As for the grain, what program do you use?

Me too :D
I used Photoshop for making the frames, saved them in gif format and used Flash to animate them.

It might be something to do with flash. In photoshop, try to make all the frames as layers in one file, and then save it as a gif. You should get a message asking what frame delay you want. Make it the amount of milliseconds you want, and then save it. That's what I do.:)

Ah, I didn't even know you can animate in Photoshop :D Thank you!

Haha, yeah.:giggle:

In any program really (that has layers), if you make all the frames as layers, when you save it as gif it will automatically make it an animation.:giggle:

Looks even better without the grain!:dummy:

Does it work with SAI as well?

I've never used SAI, but as long as it uses layers and your able to convert to gif with it, it should work.;)

Lovely idea!
I agree with Lin, I think that, the more color shades you have in jpg/png files that make frames of GIF file, the more grain you tend to have after you safe file as gif. I am making GIFs for quite a time, and from my experience using as little color palete as it's possible helps to avoid things like this ;)

I usually safe as png files, and then animate in Gimp - tried learning Photoshop but it just didn't go well :D - but yaay! It looks way much better now! :iconyaayplz:

Thank you! But I saved the frames as gif, not jpg, exactly to avoit that. They looked fine on their own, but put together they are still grainy.

:D Great stamp!

And about grain... I don't know for sure but suspect that the more colours (like TrueColor) you have in the original jpg/png, the more grain you have in the gif then.

I saved the original as gif as well, but flash made it grainy anyways. If it's about colors, then how do you make something like this? [link]
